Apologies for not updating the fish report.
We have been extremely busy with fishing the Alaska Silver Salmon on the Little Susitna River and Since the end of Alaska King Salmon Fishing, July 13, which was a pretty good season on the Talkeetna River, we have been doing great on the Alaska Silver Salmon fishing. We have been getting close limits each day on the Little Susitna River. The Alaska Silver Salmon have been weighing 8-13 Lbs. Both morning and after trips on the Little Susitna River are producing a good amount of Alaska Silver Salmon.
Along with the Alaska Silver Salmon, we have also been getting Chum Salmon and Pink Salmon. Even though we are targeting the Alaska Silver Salmon, the Chum Salmon and Pink Salmon have been fun to catch in between catching our limits of Alaska Silver Salmon.
The water level on the Little Susitna River has been high and muddy since all the rain we have been having. However, since the rain has halted for a couple days, the water level on the Little Susitna River is receding and starting to clear up a bit. The Alaska Silver Salmon fishing has not been affected by the high water level. We are still doing great.
